As a Senior Consultant at Focus Strategies, Chela oversees and contributes to a variety of consulting and technical assistance projects focused on improving community’s efforts to end homelessness. She works with clients to evaluate their homeless systems, identify improvements, and support best practices.
Before joining Focus Strategies, Chela worked as a Systems Improvement Advisor at Community Solutions supporting their Zero for All communities focused on ending homelessness for all populations. Prior to that, Chela spent more than a decade working in Phoenix/ Maricopa County designing and implementing housing programs. Chela also designed and implemented the coordinated entry system for families in Maricopa County. Chela has a Master of Nonprofit Studies from Arizona State University.
