Allison is responsible for leading and supporting homelessness response system improvement initiatives in communities throughout the United States. She manages technical assistance engagements, designs and implements stakeholder engagement processes, and develops analytical and policy content for reports and other publications. Prior to joining Focus, Allison was the Director of Permanent Housing at the lead agency for Austin, Texas’ Continuum of Care where she built out community coordination and standardization for permanent housing interventions within Coordinated Entry. She has years of expertise in Coordinated Entry system design, implementation, and evaluation, Housing First, Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing program models, and CoC governance and community engagement. Allison holds a B.A. in Sociology & Hispanic Studies from Macalester College.
